Description
My first ever digital painting that I did for school last semester. I had a horrible time with this, since I was basically trying to teach myself as I painted it. But at least I learned a lot doing it!

This is an unusual picture, for no small reason due to the girl/woman (she looks teenaged to me, but I could be mistaken) having an octopus companion/familiar. Either that or this is a prelude to *that part* of the Internet.
Still, this is an interesting fantasy image, and part of me wants to delve deeper into the story surrounding this. Or to figure out the stats on whatever it is she expects to need that bow against. (Yes, I'm one of those.)
It is a bit rough, I'll admit, but it's good, and it certainly has character. As-is, I could see this set into another image as a wall mural in some noble person's home depicting part of some story of some legendary heroine (and her all-too-faithful octopus companion).
